Step 1 Upload the JoomlaTags.zip file
From the Joomla Administration Control Panel select installers -> Components.
Make sure that the directories into which the
component will be written are marked as Writeable.
If any are not writable you will need to update their permissions using FTP or
the joomlaXplorer component.
Click on browse and find the location of your JoomlaTags.zip file.
Click on the Upload File & Install button:
You should get an Upload Component - Success message.
Click on Continue
You should see the tags component listed at the top of the Installed Components section.
Step 2 Configuring the Component
Click on Components -> JoomlaTags:
Installing and Managing the Tags Component
If this is the first time that you have installed a Blue Flame component you will be prompted to install the Blue Flame Framework:
Click on the Install the bfFramework link:
Step 3 Installing the Tags Modules and Plugins
Click on Components -> Joomla Tags. You may see this message:
Refresh the page to get into the component administration screen.
Click on the Addons tab at the bottom left of the screen.
Click on the Install button the install the Tags modules and plugin/mambot:
Notice how xAjax is helping you here. Only the parts of the screen that need to be refreshed are actually refreshed.
Step 4 Check Your Site
Go to your site's front-end and click through on a content item (article) at the bottom of the article you should see the tag listing and entry from the Joomla Tags plugin:
Add a few tags to test it out:
