Component Compatibility Statement

Lets make this very clear !

Our Components only support the latest versions of Joomla!

Our components are designed forJoomla ONLY, Joomla is a content management and application framework available for for free from http://www.joomla.org

We design our components to be 100% compatible with the latest version of Joomla released.

Mambo Support

Nothing we write has been tested on Mambo. Do not buy if you are using Mambo - Please!

Joomla 1.5.x Compatibility

Joomla 1.0.x and Joomla 1.5.x are totally different beasts when it comes to such advanced components such as ours.

The only components we have that are Joomla 1.5.x native (don't require the legacy plugin to be enabled) are:

Joomla Tags (for Joomla 1.5.x)
Joomla Knowledgebase (for Joomla 1.5.x)

No other component we have released is compatible with Joomla 1.5.x

Joomla 1.0.x Compatibility

The following components are designed for Joomla 1.0.x and are fully compatible with that version:

Phil-a-form
mosDirectory
mosListMessenger/Mailing List Manager
Joomla Tags (for Joomla 1.0.x)
Joomla Knowledgebase (for Joomla 1.0.x)

Thats right, Joomla Tags and Knowledgebase have two different versions, one for each branch of the Joomla versions (1.0.x and 1.5.x) - you buy once and receive TWO versions :-)

PHP5.2+ Required

All our releases made after March 2008 will require PHP5.2+ to be installed on the server - this should not be a problem on secure and reliable web hosting companies.

The following components require PHP5.2+:

Joomla Tags (for Joomla 1.0.x)
Joomla Tags (for Joomla 1.5.x)
Joomla Knowledgebase (for Joomla 1.0.x)
Joomla Knowledgebase (for Joomla 1.5.x)

SEF URL's Compatibility

All of our components are ONLY TESTED WITH Joomla Built-In SEF solution and with SEF Advance (Available from http://www.sakic.net).

Our components are NOT TESTED and MAY NOT WORK (We have not tested and we dont know) with OpenSEF, RemoSEF, ArtioSEF or any other Joomla SEF product.

WYSIWYG Editors

We have developed our components to work with the editors that are shipped with Joomla 1.0.x. Please make no assumption that our components will work with other editors, free or commercial.

Javascript Conflicts

Our components use a variety of javascript libs. Without these our components will not work. If you are already using javascript libs on your site please ensure you understand how our components will conflict before purchasing.

We use mooTools, jQuery(No Conflict Mode) in Joomla Tags.

bfFramework applications

We have developed a very advanced framework for rapid development of components. The bfFramework is very good at handling conflicts, however we are aware with conflicts where other component/hacks/patches replace Joomla Core files - refunds will NOT be granted if bfFramework applications do not work because you have modified core Joomla Files. We have to assume that Joomla does what Joomla is designed to do - if you change that then its not our fault!
